The questions everyone asks.
Isn't this just stealing from my agency?
No. We only recover assets you own or have a legal right to access — your paid-for code, your data, your domain, your accounts. We require written authorisation and never bypass security or take an agency's proprietary tools.
What if my contract says the agency owns the code?
Then we flag it as a risk and explain the contractual route — we don't work around it. Many contracts are ambiguous; knowing exactly where you stand is itself valuable, and often the starting point for a clean negotiation.
Do you need to tell my agency?
No. The work is done through your own accounts and access. It's confidential — many clients run an Evacuation Plan quietly, well before any conversation about leaving.
What if I don't have access to anything yet?
That's exactly when this matters most. We start from whatever you do have, document the gaps, and give you a prioritised plan — including the contractual steps to recover legitimate access that's been withheld.
What happens after?
You own everything and owe us nothing further. Some clients, having just realised how exposed they were, ask us to keep watch with a light ongoing retainer — but that's entirely optional.
